Height is the number everyone reads first on a product page. Weight is the number that decides whether you actually enjoy owning the doll. A full-size doll is dead weight, it does not balance itself, and moving one from a bed to a storage spot is a real task. Before you fall for a listing, work out what you are prepared to lift.

How height and weight relate
A useful rule of thumb: a doll weighs roughly what a real person of that height would weigh, minus the skeleton. The body is solid material over a steel frame, so there is no way around it. Taller means heavier, and the jump is steep in the last few centimeters.
| Height | Typical TPE weight | What it compares to |
|---|---|---|
| 150 cm | 25 to 29 kg | A large suitcase at the airline limit, twice |
| 158 cm | 30 to 34 kg | A loaded carry-on plus a checked bag |
| 163 cm | 33 to 38 kg | A full keg of beer |
| 168 cm | 38 to 45 kg | A small adult you have to carry without their help |
| 170 cm and up | 45 kg and up | More than most people move comfortably alone |
Silicone dolls run 20 to 40 percent heavier than the figures above for the same height. Curvy and BBW builds add another 5 to 15 kg. A 165 cm silicone BBW doll can pass 55 kg.
Why weight matters more than people expect
- Storage. If the doll lives in a closet or under a bed, you will move it every time you use it. Thirty-plus kilograms of shifting weight in an awkward shape gets old fast.
- Stairs. Carrying a full-size doll up a flight of stairs alone is genuinely difficult and a little dangerous. If your storage involves stairs, size down.
- Positioning. Heavier dolls are harder to reposition and put more strain on the joints and the neck bolt when you do. Lighter dolls are more forgiving of rough handling.
- Hanging storage. A wall or closet suspension system rated for the doll’s weight solves most of this, but you need the right hardware and a solid mount.
Height and how the doll reads
Proportion changes with height. Shorter dolls in the 150 to 158 cm range often have a fuller-figured look because the same body measurements sit on a smaller frame. Dolls at 165 to 172 cm read as more model-proportioned. Neither is better. It is a matter of the look you want, and both are firmly in adult-body territory. Our full catalog starts at 150 cm, which is also the height floor that mainstream payment processors require.
What we recommend for a first doll
- Live alone in a house, storage on the same floor: 158 to 168 cm is fine. Pick for looks.
- Apartment, shared space, or storage that involves stairs: 150 to 158 cm. You will thank yourself every time you move it.
- Limited grip strength or a back that complains: stay at 150 cm, or look at a torso instead of a full body.
- You want the full-height presence and have space and a hanging kit: 168 to 172 cm, and budget for the suspension hardware.
